Sophia Helena Kastel in her home kitchen in Astoria, Oregon circa 1902. Helena was an exceptionally good cook, who always chose the best ingredients available. She said it was more economical to have good food 'then waste bad food.' Over the years her husband's increasing weight was testimony to her cooking.

Sophie Helena Kastel Fellman and husband Werner Fellman.

Car manufacturer not identified. The Fellmans were early Astoria car owners. Their first auto was an Evertt Morgan and Flanders, known as the "Every Morning Fix It" car. The brand was discontinued in 1912 after three years of production.

The author of this page believes it should be labeled Tyne Christine (age 14), Eva Sophia (age 12), Martha Sussanna (age 10), and Waino William (age 3) Poysky. June Elsa was born in 1913, and was later known as June Elizabeth. Martha Sussanna was later known as Martha Susan Poysky. Wainor was later known as Wayne Poysky.
